This is an interesting question: What would a child's drawing look like if it were painted realistically?
The question is posed by the people at The Monster Engine. Check out their experiments. They are kind of interesting but... isn't it a little exploitive? Cause it's not like he's making 'better' art. He's just hanging around and making the idea more 'real.' Working up the idea, and fleshing things in because he's got the skills to do what the kids can't. In more than one instance the child's drawing is way more interesting and original. The adult version seems colored in... by an adult.
